The Arts
The Arts (Art, Music & Music Technology) at Tobermory High School sets out to engage, inspire and nurture the talents of all pupils and their needs, with the intent that they will be become successful learners and confident individuals in their creative abilities.
During the Broad General Education phase pupils are introduced to the principles of art and design, music performance, and recording technology. We achieve this through offering a diverse range of Expressive Arts units designed to meets the needs of each individual learner.
We regularly work alongside partners both in the community and beyond. Students have participated in musical and theatrical performances in An Tobar, Aros Hall and further afield. Previous projects have consisted of a ‘World Aids Day’ exhibition and ‘Art in Motion Project’ working in collaboration with Comar. Photographs courtesy of Sarah Darling.
